Central banks cannot stop a recession. It reacts to the recession and will lower rates as they chase unemployment higher.

Central banks created this. Its their fault everything is shit.
I would say the business cycle existed before the central banks so they didn't 'cause' it but they are def. making it worse. They are just another clown at the clown show.
And worse in very real ways. During recessions families separate, suicide goes up, etc..
