The automation of fast food in Honolulu has been interesting to observe. The McDonalds on Hobron and Ala Moana is like this too I believe

I would say that is businesses in general. I am even seeing it happen with our dentist friends since staffing has become a major issue since Covid. Small businesses are always looking to cut costs without compromising service.

That's maybe a problem of technocracy. In itself it simply doesn't work out for the 'others'. Not sayin' I know what DOES work out – but gaining whatever clarity is available is probably part of the equation for not sh*tting our collective bed.
