Hashtags are always and everywhere unreliable and incomplete. Labels used as hashtags plus people curating content manually or AI bots that apply labels are a much better way to create custom topical feeds.

Can you expand on the labels idea? Is that a NIP?

Or you just saying in general, use a label?

There is a NIP-32. It has a lot of stuff in there but I'm talking only about publishing label events that tag other people's posts with a hashtag ex post facto.

So if I wrote a post about Bitcoin, but didn’t use a hashtag, someone else could read my note and add the hashtag after the fact.

Do I understand correctly?
