The overwhelming majority have, at best, an infantile understanding and ability to recognise, the theory and use of Reflexive Control.
Discussion
Well, reflexive control is a militaristic strategy. I'm more prone to shifting Overton windows, out of sheer curiosity or while attempting to solve problems.
Generally, when you see a group of people facing a seemingly intractable problem, then the solution lies outside of their intellectual safe-zone; which is why they can't see it.
i had to look up reflexive control... very funny to think of an open source project or school of thought as being prone to militaristic strategies.
You can weaponize any rhetorical technique. Noble character has to do with mastering every technique and then applying them purposefully to a good end.
Military ends can be good ends (sorry, not sorry), but I'm more of an inventor than a soldier.
i've seen war praised for fostering creativity and inventions
Noble character studies... that must be what they teach in military academies
Self-defense is also an act of war.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
and war is not just about killing... in fact often the most effective acts of war are things like blowing up bridges, ammo depots, knocking out communications, spreading confusion and creating false intelligence (counterintelligence) and reconnaissance (going deep behind lines to get information that cannot be gathered any other way), and even helping people escape impending invasion and removing one of the chips the enemy might use against you
when i was considering joining the military, recon was my preferred option... unfortunately i confessed to being a bit mad and the doctors ruled that i was no good for service haha
you chose well... bridges are my favorite things followed by trains, so don't blow them up!
Trains on bridges are just a beautiful representation of ingenuity saving energy
my 4 year old niece has already mastered some of this reflexive control. she's always negotiating. in her case it's more about scheduling and activities than military or inventions.
Women do this when they emotionally exhaust you with arguing, especially by bringing up unconnected arguments that seem randomly chosen.
is this what ornery is? lack of food/sleep/attention ? i have experienced that too (dude here)
sorry if you get three versions of this, i'm struggling with posting today
