Think depends on what environment currently live in. City versus rural areas. I live in Southern California so a earthquake is an actual threat. So I carry my physical red teaming bag in the car at all times. This is full of lock bypassing and entry tools. Would say need a shove knife, travelers hook, basic lock pick set with rakes, lishi picks for Schlage and Kwikset are best to have in US.

Would always have a VHF hand held Ham Radio. Even if do not have a license a cheap BaoFang is good to have. If the world is falling apart the FCC is last people to worry about. I use Meshtasitc LoRa32 devices I make to give to family and friends. Have a small solar panel to keep batteries good.
