I've tried to learn stuff. I get lost, confused and my focus is gone. I learn with my hands better than books. Would need someone to sit with me to learn anything unfortunately.

Imagine a 5thgrader wants to learn.

Where would I start?

UI. User interface. Html css JavaScript. W3schools.com . You get instant visual feedback so it's a little easier to self teach. once you get a basic idea of a web page then read about how to use react js. Finally sign up for a coding boot camp. A cheap one don't spend 40k.

There is also English teaching if you already have a 4 year degree. It can be in anything. There is even a mostly free online university and companies will take that degree and allow you to teach English online.

That's all I got. Maybe some call center jobs.

Although I have some criticisms, https://freeCodeCamp is donation based and covers many basics. I haven't looked at Kahn Academy's style yet, but it's free also.

Finding the right tutorial/book is actually a big challenge, but every now and then someone nails it. For me, that means the examples are practical (not just abstract data manipulation), and build one upon another to make an overall larger program that actually does something; amongst other details.

Immersion does wonders, just like with spoken languages, and pulling from multiple sources helps create different ways of making that happen.

Feel free to ask me questions!
