I recommend new American standard bible 1995 version.

It might be helpful to go to a Barnes and noble or local book store. Get one that feels good in your hands and the pages don’t feel like they will rip apart on the 2nd use (issue with Amazon/ordering online).

Also, the reason I recommend New American standard bible 1995 version is because the consensus by people I trust on these matters believe it's the version that hews most closely to the translations of the ancient greek and it also has annotations to help you understand words/phrases that are difficult to perfectly translate into English.
