Is it wrong to stand for nothing? What if everyone is wrong.
How can everything be wrong?
Not absolutely but to a degree.
Just reminds me of “if you’re not with us you’re against us “ which feels like a trap of absolutes. No, I can be not with you nor against you.
No, that’s not what I meant.
Seems too easy to just say, everyone is wrong to a degree, so I won’t stand for anything. It’s the same with the people who say, don’t worry about things you can’t control. That’s like telling me not to wear a jacket when it’s raining.
I can't stand FOR someone, I can stand FOR something.
But I don't need to stand WITH someone. Even worse, it can't easily turn me off.
