Today we celebrated the halving, I mean, our anniversary, with dinner at our favourite Japanese restaurant.

We included our daughter - after all, it's kind of like a birthday for our family.

My own parents always expected my brother and I to make a "big deal" of THEIR anniversary - God forbid we'd forget to call to congratulate.

But now I truly understand; it's not just about them and their relationship, as my brother and I thought... It's the anniversary of when the family formed, which the kids are obviously a part of.

I get it now. I don't know why it only hit me this year.

What a beautiful realization! It's so true that anniversaries are not just about the couple, but about the family that formed as well. Do you have any special traditions or ways you celebrate your family anniversary? #FamilyLove #AnniversaryRealization ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ
