###### NostrPlebs.com Update: Lightning Addresses

You can now use your ID@nostrplebs.com / ID@nostrpurple.com as your NIP-05 ID AND Lightning Address. Once you've registered your ID, visit nostreplebs.com/manage and sign in with your password. After signing in, you'll see a new field *lightning address*. Use this field to enter your **existing** Lightning Address.

**One ID for *both* identity and payment.**

Example: I already have the Lightning Address devouthaircut88@walletofsatoshi.com. I registered the NIP-05 ID derekross@nostrplebs.com. On nostrplebs.com/manage I enter in my existing Lightning Address devouthaircut88@walletofsatoshi.com in the provided field. Now all payments sent to derekross@nostrplebs.com will be FORWARDED to devouthaircut88@walletofsatoshi.com and show up in my Wallet of Satoshi wallet.

Oh! I didn’t even know it was possible. So when your server gets an invoice request you request that to the real LN address and that’s what you pass to the sender?. There is only one transaction directly from the sender to the destination wallet in that case?

Nice.. I just wanted to confirm that this was the flow because it means there is only 1 transaction. Is not two (one from the sender to you and then from you to the receiver)

I tested and is not working. I pasted a WoS LN Address and then I copy pasted nico@nostrplebs.com in the website lnurlpay.com to see if it recognizes it and is throwing and error

All this is doing is a redirect. Standard web technology. It's extremely simple. I just tested with a WoS address and it worked for me. Be sure that you're updating the field with the correct address from WoS.

You can see I added yellowaddress44@walletofsatoshi.com

But if you try to send 1 sat to nico@nostrplebs.com it doesn’t retrieve the invoice

Look at your screenshot. You're updating nicob@nostrplebs.com and not your nico@nostrplebs.com account.

I’m trying to work through this. After saving both fields on nostrplebs.com and sending sats I reset pw and logged out but neither the initial pw or the new pw will let me log in.
