Thinking about doing something that will probably bring me equal amounts of stress and satisfaction...

Buying an old Toyota truck and making it road worthy again (or whatever is necessary to make it a sweet daily driver/backup).

The biggest challenge will be getting my wife to give up our one car garage for something that may not run for a bit. Might have to time this for when the weather warms up... 😬

Get a harbor freight car tent and a diesel heater. That might work short term.

Not in an apartment complex, but otherwise a good idea. And it's probably what I would do if it was my house with this situation.

I was thinking I could also spend more and not get a total shit box. Something running but in need of lesser work. We'll see.

No budget, just because.

I also hate modern cars. But that's a pro and con topic. I had a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo that I liked a lot.
