I have thought of converting to Judaism in the past. It’s not that. “God Save the Jews” wasn’t trite. It was one of our values growing up- my Mom educated us heavily about the holocaust and had us read first person accounts of what happened, how those that survived did, how cruel other humans can be, how that didn’t pay off, how it was tied to Stalin and Mussolini, how the entire world popped off.
