I know many who are approaching 30 and still live at home. It’s a double edged sword, on one hand it can be beneficial temporarily to develop a cash buffer but extended stays are extremely detrimental. Many need the pressure of financial strain to push themselves to be more in the world, by staying home they’re avoiding that pain and delaying their growth. 30 year olds learning things a decade late, and 10 years delayed to starting a family.
