The fact is, some people will be receptive to learning and talking about Bitcoin and MOST won’t.

They will use Bitcoin when their local news or authority tells them to.

At that point no one will remember or acknowledge the detractors or the push back.

Like the electrical grid

Like the automobile

Like the passenger plane

Like the internet

It all plays out the in the same rhyme.

Indeed. I just stay humble and stack sats. “Everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve” is so on point.

Exactly most people don't think for themselves, they just absorb the consensus, they leverage the critical thinking of people they trust. It's just that this time there is a massive economic benefit to figuring it out yourself and the reward is so worth it

Also to add to that people dismiss doing something “different”. I don’t remember who I heard this from but online banking is a big pain in the balls. People just deal with it because they have to. People can and will adjust (UX improvements will help too)

I imagine having to deal with a username and password for Internet services were a pain for people that would “never launch” either.

I agree with you, I am not a fan of this oh the UX will be the thing that brings the masses, has anyone objectively sat and used amazon and thought this is easy? Its a horrible user experience, we've simply normalised it

Time normalises a lot of things things that aren't exactly the best, I think the benefits outweigh UX, if its 10x better you can get people to take action at least thats how I rate my experience. Yes its a ballache to self custody but I have control of my funds and at any time I can access them, add to them and not have to ask anyone for permission

I don't see how that isn't something people would want in the future, unless they are completely captured state cucks

Agree 🫡
