Male circumcision could have hygiene benefits and could improve sexual pleasure. Female circumcision mostly steals that from women. Without arguing either side, this is why I think they are viewed differently.

It does not improve sexual pleasure. If anything circumcision desensitizes the penis to an extent and reduces sexual pleasure.
And the hygiene argument is dumb, just wash your dong regularly and you'll be fine
