Men need friends just as much as women. Loyalty, support and physical attraction are very important, but equally important is finding a best friend.
I always tell younger men to look for women who they can do things with. Have a laugh, watch a movie, play sports, travel, whatever it is.
Iβve never understood the guys who only do shit with their guy friends, or women who only have a laugh with their gfs. In my experience these are the relationships that often end in ruin, once the initial passion fizzles. And it will. But when itβs your friend, and she becomes the mother of your children, the passion seems to intensify.
True, if we are going to generalise.
Men will care less about looks and more about loyalty and support, as long as you continue to 'give it up' for them to keep doing what they need to support and provide for you.
Funnily enough the book was written by a man, was a New York Times bestseller and they made films about it. Why I was so curious what men actually thought π€
