CGMs do not lower blood sugar, they track it - about every couple of minutes or so, and that way you don't have to constantly test with finger pricking and test strips. It's a great way to see how what you do or eat throughout the can affect your BG numbers.

I'd like to get a CGM to test different foods and walk times to see if and what works for me
