This question is for my photographers and Lightroom users.

What computer and specs are you running Lightroom on?

I’m moving from PC to Mac. I’m heavily leaning towards MacBook Air.

Any guidance that can be offered to me would be much appreciated.

I use the M3 Max. For my setup. I do both photos and video (Lightroom and FCPX) this computer is way overkill for what I need. I wish I would have gone with the m3 pro with a larger internal ssd

Thanks for sharing. Do you think a M3 Air would be able to handle some light video editing? I’m thinking of podcasting in 2025 and need some tech that could handle some video editing if I choose to go that route.

I have an old M1 that I still do video editing on. The M3 will do just fine.
