So would this mean that someone can take your private key and impersonate you now? With Nostr being unstoppable, this seems like a potential problem. Maybe there's a need for a self-nuke function to tell relays to drop oneself.

Good idea. No telling how often we'll change keys in the future and it would suck to have to manage thirty years of keys eventually.

Probably, for better or worse, you'll have clients managing your keys for you in the future. It's basically a requirement for normies.

I mean, somebody could do that anyway, just by saying they are so-and-so.
