it's not a worthless in game currency. it's a real world currency that's used all over the world to buy goods and services. have you never heard of Bitcoin?

Oh totally, would make sense to receive payments in Bitcoin guessing, but not the train of thought when brings the question, since the use of alternative currencies creates complexity which uncertain whether solving any problems?!

If your client shows it, I just sent Derek 21 sats (⚡️21 in the UI)

My lightning wallet sent to his with the click of 2 buttons.

Could be automated for any modern banking to reduce the steps with direct Swift transactions.

SWIFT is a dinosaur. Bitcoin's Lightning network solves all of SWIFT's issues and failures. Instant and near zero fee cross border payments everywhere in the world. It's absolutely wild.

Now, if my employer would say, listen, it’s cheaper for us to pay in a binary currency, so be it, but to convince the average Joe to learn without anything tangible in return is a difficult pitch.

The average Joes will start moving if they see more and more ppl using clever solutions. FOMO will push them to do the right thing.

Don’t tell the xrpers 😂

The games are tangential, it just happens that ZBD does games and rewards players with satoshis (the smallest unit of bitcoin) but bitcoin is a digital money that works globally. Lightning is a layer on top of bitcoin that allows for these near instant, cheap or free payments.

But IBAN and Swift are as well serving the same need of a transaction standard.

Do we need to reinvent the wheel?
