Here me out: A theme park where you are given a persistent identity Ala Nostr that you activate when you enter each time, you equip AR glasses and the entire theme park is an RPG with quests and levels and skills, etc., and every time you come to the park you can pick up where you left off on the “main quest” where side quests change, etc., and there is a market for items that you can trade amongst other players just like an MMORPG. Like Pokemon Go with a richer environment with rides and shit. Hot Dogs and Soda as well of course.

I dig. Instead of physical decorations, its all AR.

There should be both like Disney Land but a layer 2 on top of it for interactive, personalized environments, and magic and shit.

I imagine there being a moderated PVP aspect to it as well but AR-governed rules that prevent people from getting within physical reach of each other so when people rage quit they dont punch a child.

I've often wanted to punch a child in a theme park. The one I worked in. Social distancing < self control

I imagine the belligerents would be separated by plexiglass and enter and exit the arena from faction based door limiting interactions. It’s a WIP but this would be An amazing thing. Imagine if the theme park also had a fully virtual location on your pc or console or mobile where you could do tedious shit in advance of your visits to the park.

Bouncers, my brother. Fuzz their AR and direct them to the exit

Absolutely. There Will be men with hands like any good theme park full of retards should.

Read th book Snowcrash

Use all the defunct big box stores and build cheap structures inside and paint them in AR

Man invented west world

You can’t fuck the robots. But ya we need this kind of place. Imagine all the gamers out there that would just love a meatspace place like this?

can real hot dogs drop as loot?

No but tokens convertible to food is certainly a possibility.

All I heard was 🌭 hot dogs 🤣🤣🤣✅💯

I did laser tag at the Mall of America a few years back and it was incredible even without AR. You could play any Call of Duty or Halo game mode IRL, use multiple gun types by pressing a button on the rifle, pick up powerups in the arena, call in killstreak rewards, and track your game stats via a giant leaderboard. It was a next level experience. AR would make it unbelievable.

And they dropped real hot dogs when you got a kill

Listen, I want first blood hot dog rewards, but we need to move slowly here. Imagine the mountains of money that would flood in. Hogwarts RPG was a huge sell on PC/console imagine if they gave you the ability to be a fuckin’ wizard while at Disney land with all of the micro transactions and incremental progress to keep you in the park all fucking day. Trading legendary rare drops for hot dog tokens because you’re starving and already spent $400 on spell augments.

The money would be overwhelming.

ok we can table the hot dogs til Phase II

NerdQuest, original release followed by NerdQuest: The HotDog of Time

Incremental updates and expansions are a must.

jokes aside, I used to work in augmented reality and I've been making video games my whole life so hit me up if this gets traction

Aww you mean call of duty VR

You’re not thinking big enough.

You mean a dystopian high society Epstein island murder game using the prisoners of socialism to be hunted down for fun of the elite?

A battle royal where death row inmates are hunted for sport by zoomers live streamers

Hunger games but good

sounds cool but would get abused by park management for sure, milked to the max

you're just trying to re-create the UO buzz of your youth
