It seems like on day 3 we’ve finally found and fixed our water leak. The boiler apparently has a hole somewhere… short circuited the warm water circuit and excluded and drained the whole thing. Seems to stay dry now.
No warm water but at 35C (95F) outside that’s something we can currently live with… now we have to find someone who can fix the darn thing somewhere. 🙈
Oh well… life on the road…

Zapped for help with repair
Do the bubble test...
Pressurize the system. Then get a spray bottle with a little dish soap and water. Next spray around where you think the leak is. The leak will cause the soapy water to bubble. Slather that area with a silicon sealer or RTV.
Badda Bing, no more leaks
Yeah we’ve heard from a fellow traveler with the same system that it just kept breaking in other places. Seems like the wall is too thin to deal with the shaking… so we’ll probably have someone build us the same thing with a thicker wall.
What's your heat source? (Propane, Diesel, Electric) Your setup looks fancy: German style hose clamps... nice
We have a diesel floor heater that also heats the boiler. Through a heat exchanger we can use the motor heat to also heat the box through the same circuit. The boiler also can be heated via the AC.
Very cool setup in general, unfortunately the boiler is shit. 🙈
