Shipping Amethyst with Paid relays for Global and Public Chats by default.

But how would new users ask questions in the chat if only paid relays are used?

New messages go to free relays and I (and hopefully paid users) reply through a paid relay. Spam is gone and people get the support they want.

It just doesn't allow new users to answer each other as much as I would like.

it's a start.

How will new users know that paid relays exist? Will there be an on-boarding process and navigation through several pages to educate them?

Good question. I am so far behind on onboarding screens that I have no idea how to reply.

Put a help button on the login screen and in the left hand flyout menu with some explaining. That might be a good place to start.

As for help reply - super controversial suggestion - since you already add us to the Amethyst Users channel in the DM/channels menu - maybe add another column to the home screen for JUST that channel - or a new one called Amethyst Help

The Channels tab by default still going to free relays right?

This is where we tag my my #[3] for some UI help.

How will paid users find the new users messages alongside all the spam?

Sounds like a start 🙏 What's your recommended source for me to knowledge up on paid relays, how to run one, benefits of, etc? I've been waiting for a Twitter killer - and this is going to do that plus so much more.

Collectively, open-sourcely, we will change the face of privacy, content, and the Web+++ world to suit us, not "them".

Again, thank you for what you're doing ✌
