Interesting idea! Honestly, not interested as I have a 3700x already. Curious though on what did you upgrade to? I'm looking at a 7900x to pair with my rtx 3090 ti

I was debating between 5800X3D and 5950X. Went with the latter because I'm more interested in build parallelism than gaming. 128GB ECC RAM with 16 cores would be pretty good as a server for virtual machines.

Very nice. The great thing on the 5900 series is they still use AM4. Iā€™d love to go 7900x for gaming and video editing and 3d, but the motherboard AND new ddr5 ram. Ouch
