The disappointment is because Bitcoin Magazine is participating in this shitcoinery. It’s one thing to report on it, but a completely other thing when you hold an auction for a worthless JPEG.
What you “can” and “should” do are not the same. Bitcoin Magazine should not be doing this, even though they can.
