No, it's just vlogs don't actually provide value to the world.

Your vlog isn't going to change laws they keep using to fuck you, me, or anyone else.

A vlog isn't making anyone's life watching it, actually better.

I'm tired of "creators, influencers, or w/e you wanna call them" acting like what they do improves the world when most of the times they are just video slop slapped with a VALUE sticker.

Entertainment is valuable. Vlogs are entertaining.

You get to decide for everyone what is and isn't contributing to their lives? I've learned many things from vlogs over the years and they have improved my life. Not all vlogs are equally beneficial for everyone, but that doesn't mean none of them have any value. And youre also assuming that a vlog is necessarily meant to improve the lives of everyone watching. There could be other reasons for one to make a vlog. They can be digital records, much like written ones people used to keep. I wouldn't say historical records are useless.

I got personal enjoyment from a lot of these v-logs.

Nobody is expecting a short video to change the world.

You are expecting way too much from people.

Nah. I just think we could be doing better is all.

Where your attention goes is just as powerful as where your money does.
