I know how you feel with that pretty well! That’s a feeling of expectation. Being unconditional is something we get rarely teached, or we just don’t experience it in our little life.
All the people that act unconditional towards me, teach me to do the same. That kind of energy is healing for both, the giver and the receiver. The more of this energy is around us, the more we can experience and share it. And suddenly, it starts to feel lighter, to come across others with the love you carry. The love we all carry. It feels like nothing is missing, and so you’re able to share unconditionally. Because you realized, and your environment teached, that you’re able to love you and your life completely.
You set good intentions whenever you check in on someone. And it can feel heavy when nothing comes back. You can use that wall someone builds to change your direction to people that will give it back to you, the nourishing energy we need to grow healthy. 🤍

Wise words. I think that unconditionality and genuine care and interest in how someone is going is often misinterpreted. I know in my life there are several people who I only ever hear from when they want something and I think, because that so common in society, some people immediately question what you want when you try to check in on them.
And yes, it is definitely better to try and focus energy where it is needed, appreciated and is reciprocated.
Oh yeah. I experienced that often, and still do.
We can’t but trying to radiate trust and good intentions.
If you really just want to know how someone is „how are you?“ you can ask, and if there’s nothing more that’s fine. A while after you ask again, just how they are, that can build trust.
So when you focus on the good, good comes to you, somehow, sometime.
