So here’s a #pleb question on lightning. For round numbers - say you had 1 million sats in your lightning wallet, can you open 2 x 1 million sat channels. Or if you have 2 channels, they would have to be 500,000 sat channels each?
You could only have 1-million in outbound liquidity, but how you divide that across multiple channels could vary.
You could open a 1 million sats channel, loop out the entire balance and leave that channel open, then open another 1 million sats channel (second channel would actually be slightly less than 1 million because of channel opening fees and channel reserves) and now you’d have 1 million inbound and 1 million-ish outbound capacity
I have zero channels and I'm looking for my first hookup. I'd be much obliged to anyone willing to open with me.
I have no idea how this would work or if it’s even remotely possible but could « Nodestrich » be its own micro-app dedicated to opening lightning channels with other plebs on Nostr?
