It took me my whole life to realize this but the reason I don’t enjoy the things many other people do is because I have a very strong internal locus of control.
For me it doesn’t really matter where I am or what I’m doing, everything is the same.
The external world changes around me, but my internal narrative dominates any and all situational input.
This is why I’m content doing basically nothing most of the time.
