Over time, more people will see the benefits and superiority of the #value4value model, both for artists and consumers. Nostr is the next evolution in digital content distribution and monetization. I believe this beyond all doubt.

Thoughts on zap wall?
Some people will no doubt want to use them. Personally, I think the best way to implement them would be:
1) Community zap wall. In other words, a one-time paywall that unlocks that content for everyone. The artist would set an amount, and once the cumulative zaps surpass that amount then it’s unlocked.
2) Fiatjaf’s Zapbox approach, where the artist sets a threshold and then the content automatically shows unlocked for anyone who has zapped the artist more than that amount in the past 3 months.

Zapwalled/locked/subscriber only content is such a low hanging fruit that could *potentially* drive adoption. I just want to see it work and see what happens.
It is an interesting model, but still very limited, especially when you are in minority Nostr bubbles where you speak another language and/or have low overall purchasing power...
The value4value model also, unfortunately, does not yet cooperate broadly for larger projects, which depend on more resources, visibility and work involved.
I have seen Nostr clients with very good ideas stagnate before or after they are developed due to a lack of financial support and help with programming, but also to many other creators and sellers.
For this reason, many people return to centralized networks, to have more reach, support and profit, since many depend on them to be seen in their needs, to work or to advance professionally.
I think the same 🤝. Value for value. Don’t zap this. No added value. Just wanted to share that I think the same. Very bullish on Nostr & value4value model. Centralized creator platforms are a scam anyway.
yeah, it’s dino and dumb, but since that’s what people know, that’s what most will do unfortunately

I partially agree. But have you ever tried to get normal people to pay $ 1.99 for a really useful app in the App Store (One Time Purchase)? It's a very very long way.
