Are there any stable #Nostr apps for Android? #Amethyst crashes while I'm writing notes/comments about half of the time.
Discussion
The same goes for its fork, Onyx.
Really? Hum.. I don't see any crash reports when writing messages yet. Is there a particular procedure that I can replicate?
The crashing is consistent. I experience over 5 a day (I'm always on Onyx). It seems to be a memory issue (although I'm no expert) because many crashes are preceeded by lag that gets worse until the app crashes.
In fact, this note got written twice because of another crash.
Right after the crash, everything goes back to being really smooth until it slowly starts struggling more and more until the next crash.
Plebstr?
Keep an eye on the Primal Android app. Currently in alpha (and read-only), but we will publish an update next week with the ability to perform simple publish operations. Should develop fairly rapidly in the coming weeks.
Does the browser primal have mute yet?
Looks great 👍
Downloaded and installed apk.
It's asking for nsec.
I have a private key & public key & npub. App wouldn't accept any of them so I'm now trying to figure out my nsec...
Tried to install local version of nostrtool.com to covert to nsec and failed to get it to run.
Tried to install nostr:npub1mxrssnzg8y9zjr6a9g6xqwhxfa23xlvmftluakxqatsrp6ez9gjssu0htc key-convertr tool and wasn't able to run the executable.
Looking forward to when it's easier. 😀
Does primal need persian translator for localization?
Fear not.....most people's eyes are firmly fixed on primal 👀🔥
Force close when not in use. I go hours without it crashing 🤷♂️ it is loading a lot into memory
nostr:npub1plstrz6dhu8q4fq0e4rjpxe2fxe5x87y2w6xpm70gh9qh5tt66kqkgkx8j is not as feature-rich as Amethyst, but is does seem to be more stable.
