If you send it to the USD shitcoin side, Strike will auto sell the sats. 🤦🏼♂️ FML. Make sure you send to the Bitcoin side. I now had an unintended taxable event. And then when I went to buy my sats back, I had a fee for the purchase. Fuck.

There is a setting I believe that says something to the effect of "Recieve in bitcoin only." So even dollars will convert to BTC upon recieving.
I don’t necessarily want that either. What ever I send them, that’s what I want to arrive. Then once on the platform I do the conversion as I see fit. The automatic conversion does not work for me nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle
The only way looks like only if you request payment. If something goes into your strike account unrequested you have to select Bitcoin or Fiat.
Might be time to be using a wallet you have more sovereignty with.
