Yeah… if you even can. I couldn’t send them to myself to my primal wallet.

I appreciate it. I think it’s the bare-minimum thing. It’s basically rejecting anything below 5K to activate it. But I’m not going to be that greedy and demand that much. That’s silly just to ask for that with no value offered. I’ll just have to wait until I have enough in my own wallet. Slowly building.

But do you have no channels? Fees are cheap and you can always send them back to yourself if you don't want to have committed funds and no inbound liquidity.
I don’t have any channels now. I get the concept. I apparently need a 5K “minimum balance” (using the banking term as a basis for comparison) to open the channel. But I don’t have that in my primal now (about halfway there). But I didn’t realize that at the time when I made that original post that that’s how it worked. I found out about all this stuff only 5 days ago.
Update: I don’t have a channel open. I don’t have the on-chain funds to open it myself right now. I’m not going to beg for 3K-5K sats for literally nothing. I didn’t realize at the time why it wasn’t working. I’m earning slowly from my nostr:nprofile1qqszy58kj62v9fpe98nhuh0q76np4e0r0g0wd44rhth3wphdnyqjfzcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejq8pqnzm music and my posts.
