Men and women are wired neurologically different. Women are biologically more easily distracted, and find it more difficult to tune things out.

This is a critical adaptation for the survival of the human race. This is why small children are usually safer with their mothers than with their fathers.

On the other hand. Men can be extremely hard to distract. This is necessary for hunting, stalking and killing prey. This is also a critical adaptation for the survival of the human race. Both neurologic differences are critical to survival.

Researchers did a test. They ask men and women to listen to multiple recordings at the same time. But to only follow one conversation. Men had no problem with the test. Women found it very difficult to concentrate on only one conversation.

Two people. One female, one male. Both adapted for the survival for the human race..💜😊

I beg to differ here, most men that I know simply cannot multitask, and pretty much most of the women I know can actually multitask!

nostr:npub12gu8c6uee3p243gez6cgk76362admlqe72aq3kp2fppjsjwmm7eqj9fle6 is just one great example of males NOT be able to multitask, he’ll admit to that!

Well that's what I said Marie. You just said it better. It's very hard for men to multitask. Very easy for women. That's why small children are less likely to get hurt with women.

Men on the other hand may not even hear a screaming child if they're working on something else..¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We have though, moved on from our ‘caveman’ and evolved as humans.

Hunting is no longer necessary and mothers don’t have to be the only ones to look after the children, there’s a lot of men that are just as good if not better at this.

I agree we are wired differently no doubt about that, however as humans I believe and like to think we have evolved.

We women cannot completely understand how males think and same goes for men they cannot understand how women think.

I just make out like I do and nod my head whenever she goes on a rant. That’s evolution right there.

Good Bevo, perfectly evolved 😜💜

Let me give you an example of why I think it's so important to understand the difference between male and female neurophysiology.

Every now and then children get left by their fathers in a hot car and die. This even happens with women, but not very often.

It mostly happens by men, and it's tragic. Because they didn't know about this natural vulnerability they have. If they had, they would have been super, super careful..🫂

Dude let me tell you that I understand the difference between male and female, I have educated myself on this.

However your example isn’t convincing, there’s been more women that have sadly made this error.

So many threads in this convo. I can’t concentrate now. Nuf said

The percentage of men making that mistake is much higher than women. Most women won't even leave the child in the car. The number may be higher for women because they're the primary caregiver for children.

The number of early childhood injuries is significantly higher under a father's care than the mothers. We can do it. But we have to understand our limitations with small children..🫂

Multitasking is an illusion. You quickly shift focus when you think you are multitasking but on reality your attention is always pointed to one specific task at the time.

Sure, ok dude if you say so and that makes you feel better then believe that.

Both adapted for the survival "of" the human race. Damn autocorrect..😂
