I am an atheist and I eat meat and animal products. I am an individual with many uncorrelated opinions and I refuse to be boxed inside an ideology.
In my small sample size, religious people are as likely to get things right as any other group, when they think outside the confines of their ideological possession.
Furthermore religious dogmas incorporate useful ideas that have survived the test of time, including fasting or meditating.
The one where you lose all your bitcoin, of course. Part of our culture. We all have 0 bitcoin due to how clumsy we are with boats.
You should never do this. It won't help you in any circumstances to publicly state how many bitcoin you hold. Same goes for anyone else in your family or friends network. Please go and have boat accident asap.
It's crazy how many parallels there are between the health space and digital finance space.
"Don't just buy #Bitcoin, you need a 'balanced crypto portfolio'"
"Don't just eat the most nutritious, bioavailable food on earth (meat), you need a 'balanced diet'"
The #BTC and #Carnivore rabbit holes are so fascinating in large part because they are so identical. Both can be summarized quite simply:
- Clear, optimal option exists, which increases self-sovereignty for adopters
- Swarm of inferior pretenders arrive, looking to extract money from the pockets of the uneducated by marketing themselves as something you NEED TO HAVE TOO for some made-up reason, which is relentlessly pushed by their marketing team and lemming followers
- Due to both top dogs' sovereignty-creating characteristics, the bureaucratic class don't like them either, so they pile onto the side of the alternatives, spending an enormous amount of money propping up their schemes as an indirect means of preventing the masses from reaching the paradigm-shattering truth
- Result: mass-confusion, TONS of people having no idea where the signal is, aside from a very small, elite group who has completed the Dunning-Kruger journey, and have skin thick enough to withstand the masses of sheep telling them they're wrong because "NOOOOO YOU NEED TO HAVE SOME SHITCOINS/POISON TOO"
Those who've completed both journeys, i.e. CARNIVORE BITCOINERS, are the most elite group of modern humans on earth IMO. It takes tremendous persistence, open-mindedness, and conviction to successfully beat both of these treks which modern society, as well as the sheep masses, work so tirelessly to prevent you from reaching the finish line on.
If you're not quite there yet on one or both of these intellectual journeys, don't worry! The fact that you're reading this right now means you're on the correct path.
Keep learning, keep asking the hard questions, and never stop challenging your preconceived views. It's a crazy fucking world out there, and I promise you that what you find on the other side of this dual-rabbit-hole adventure will be more beautiful than you can imagine!
Whether you're still in the learning phase, or you've crossed the finish line and are looking to help others find the way...follow/bookmark both of these to make your job a LOT easier:

Well said
I beg to differ here, most men that I know simply cannot multitask, and pretty much most of the women I know can actually multitask!
nostr:npub12gu8c6uee3p243gez6cgk76362admlqe72aq3kp2fppjsjwmm7eqj9fle6 is just one great example of males NOT be able to multitask, he’ll admit to that!
Multitasking is an illusion. You quickly shift focus when you think you are multitasking but on reality your attention is always pointed to one specific task at the time.
When cashing out? This is the question that was asked to me yesterday. I said: I forgive you but go away now. This was in my mind at thar moment.
Money flows trough the banking system governed by rules only a tiny group of people does not have to obey. They can create money from nothing, "loans" that needn't to be repaid. These people are not simply rich, they are outside the game and because of this they are small, little minded and perverted souls with the absolute power of corruption at their fingers. They can corrupt or kill anyone. The moment the banking system and the money plumbing changes in a way that removes this power, they are over.
However, we need to remember that they will burn the world to rule over its ashes if we let them.
The only way out is to reject the money system and make ourselves strong enough to say NO. Because we cannot be corrupted by the old system as we have exited it. This is the only way out, as they are too strong when we play the game by their set of rules. Like a game of monopoly where one player has an unlimited amount of cash and the rest of the players have a finite amount of resources. That game can be played a thousand times, and it will always end in the same way.
And "cashing out" was my friend's only worry. One of the few I know is smart enough to buy bitcoin.
I like Luongo but it is very disappointing how he does not understand Bitcoin. Even more disappointing, he believes himself to be an OG, when in reality he misunderstood Bitcoin in 2010 and never progressed from there.
You are right, but it is more extreme than what you describe.
I think he is a narcisist, with a degree of self loath so high that he had to build an alternative version of himself to project to the world. He is evil to the core.
The first time I saw him on a video, he had a smirk that gave me a visceral reaction of fear. Never felt something like that before.
Moral relativism is repugnant to me. The other side of the same token is the argument to moderation which is "Between two extremes the "golden" mean is the reasonable position". What would be the reasonable middle ground between slavery and abolitiosm?
Just because obnoxious people might talk about this topic with religious fervor doesn't make them wrong.
Plenty of evidence of the toxicity of seed oil. No evidence of god existence. Can't conflate the two.
Not having the comfort of knowing I will see again my beloved ones that have passed, is not easy. There not one day I wish I could lay down my life to speak again even for a minute with my sister. I don't belive that this alone makes me courageous, but definitely is not an argument supporting moral cowardice for not being a Christian.
Why should I be conflated with your particular group of people that happen to share with me their lack of belief in god. I happen to not believe in many things, is this enough to judge me as member of an arbitrary group sharing the same personal choice?
I might be a coward, but not because I do not believe in any god. Don't push your beliefs on me. That's immoral and this particular sin is frequently committed by religious people.
The FDA has very recently conceeded that MDs have the authority to prescribe Ivermectin to treat SARS-COV2 infections.
Fiat medicine.

The best tool at our disposal for such a self-training is mindful meditation.
The best investment of my time, besides learning what is money, was discovering the place where all my thoughts appear. The base layer of our mind. The Operating System that allows our mind to create.
Thoughts are like processes that take over our entire mind and hide the existence of this lower layer of cognition. Once I rediscovered this, thoughts are losing much of their power to influence my mind decisions. Low time preference is coming more naturally to me now.
