If you're going to be a willful retard and use an iPhone despite how much it fucking sucks, do it correctly.
Here's what I would do if I EVER subjected myself to using Crapple products (only real reason would be because Qobuz isn't bitperfect on Android, REE):
β’ Set my DNS immediately after account setup to one I've made on NextDNS to block the majority of ads at the OS level, included all Apple tracking servers.
β’ Use the App Store as sparingly as possible to download apps not available as (gimped) PWA's or through the AltStore.
β’ Use AltStore (TrollStore once a more recent supported iOS version releases) for everything else, including a Nostr client with zaps.
β’ Benefit from the majority of my family being Apple cultists while actively fucking them financially (buying refurbished or through Swappa).
Anything less than this is massive self-ownage.
Who invited you into this conversation anyway?
Myself, because you decided to be an elitist retard.
Get dunked on.
Oooo is that all you got?
Got plenty more, including slurs that I'm not afraid to use.
I've been on fedi before I ever came here, I'm not scared of words; of course I'm not going to waste my time with someone who refuses to take advice on how to make their self-imposed shit less smelly.
Wow you can make shit less smelly and youβre not a billionaire yet?
Just how dumb are you then π
enjoying using your locked-down jewel case that's on feature parity with android anyway, just with more artificial restrictions:)
crapple maxitard, lmao
Itβs not really an apple thing, nostr clients just sort of suck rn.
Amethyst is currently one of two good Android clients, with Plebstr being the second.
iOS clients, even the gimped ones, just happen to be better since all THOSE are actually maintained.
Im surprised you arenβt using Onyx.
I actually was up and until Amethyst added what Onyx had (and still HAS) as a default.
I wouldn't expect it since Tony has Mutiny to maintain, but is there anything differentiating Onyx from the base app?
