This is why I chose to study biology and electron microscopy. It’s absolutely fascinating and when you understand or have an appreciation of biology and nature, not only does the world around you make more sense but you also realise that nature likely built things first. Forget EV motors and batteries; this is literally an electrical rotary motor built with proteins and powered by electrochemical gradients all on a microscopic scale.
