Why does Monero scale? Doesn't it have an infinitely growing TXO set that causes more and more resources to be used as time passes? Doesn't it require a centralized -- and thus easy to attack -- development team that pushes hardforks frequently?

You think if an update to Monero was so sinister and detrimental the community wouldn't fork the code? I never understood this "centralized" argument.
Isn't that the whole point of being open-source?
