Love and truth are the same thing.

We can be loved, love ourselves and love others.

In each case, what we call truth is

- directly proportional to love

- inversely proportional to hate

The optimal state for the universe is uncorrupted and uninterrupted information flow: truth and love.

This is why love and truth are synonyms for God.

But no one can force anyone to be loving or truthful, as force itself is dishonest and hateful.

All each of us can do is embody love and truth without expectation. It's ultimate expression is often called ego death: the end of you as a separate entity from God.

This is what Jesus meant by "I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me."

There is no other way to eternal life than through love and truth, even if you have to be crucified for it.

Any time you sacrifice yourself for love and truth, you save your soul, and all of humanity.

E'en though it be a cross that raiseth me;

Still all my song shall be

Nearer, my God, to Thee!
