Looks like Tesla sales decreased ytd

Keep an eye on 2024. Tax benefits disappearing I think.

Combustion vehicle sales peaked in 2017, and in 2022, they were down almost 20% from the peak, reaching 69 million, while plug-in vehicles increased to 10.4 million.

EV sales have been growing steadily, with their market share increasing each year. In 2021, EV sales reached 8.3%, and in 2022, they are expected to reach 13.0%.

Is that only based on new car sales? How about used cars? Bitcoiners buy 10 year old combustion vehicles with engine light issues. Where’s that in those figures?

New car sales is a shit stat IMO.

If you decrease today's the new car sales, what in your opinion, will it result in used car sales in the future?

Unfortunately bitcoiners and there life style ain't a majority

People paying $40k+ for electric cars is definitely not a majority either.

If anything hybrids are the future. You get great range, torque, and can take advantage of the existing infrastructure (gas stations).

I agree 1000% on hybrids. That’s the innovation needed.

Toyota knows what’s up

They always have.

Again we are seeing a new model that is building up against an old model, yes it's not cost effective yet, but it will get cheaper with time.

In Brazil they are launching these new BYD options and it's only 30% more expensive that the cheapest combustion model in Brazil

It’s an old model my fren. Look at history. Electric is an old, outdated model.
