Not if it removes tariffs in the longer term.

Tariffs hurt Americans with inflation. Even the US automakers use foreign parts

The tariffs are intended to hurt America/Americans and DJT is the proverbial "trojan horse" to bring it to fruition. One has to wonder if he is a dupe or a knave but whatever the case he is clearly beholden to those that control the creation and destruction of currency as his every move has the consequence (coincidentally) of giving them more and more power. The debt based social experiment known as the "USA" is nearing its inevitable conclusion and it appears that the guy that managed to bankrupt a casino will be at the helm of it all. In some ways, almost the most fitting character to overssee the sunset of the empire.

nice wordings, "bankrupt a casino"

I don't know man, I can't believe how many people that you'd think would be conservatives, are accepting this as economically sound

Trust me - I live and work amongst them. Some are former friends. The brainwashing is deep and ossified. No level of evidence can show the American "chrisitan" conservative that they have and are being taken for a ride. Ever heard of Jim Jones/Jonestown? If you have then you are pretty close to understanding how deep the mind control goes. American "christians" are mostly deluded zionists - some knowingly, but most are too brain dead to even know what the term or eventual ramifications means. Then there are some "christian" zionists that are hoping and praying for "Armageddon" in keeping with the insane belief in "the rapture" and the return of the "Messiah."

the only response I have is: don't drink the koolaid

The end game is free trade, turn off your TV

This is not how you get there. "Free trade" is not Donald Trump tweets swing all assets up and down huge amounts based on his random discretion and threats. Even if they reach a deal to avoid the actual tariffs in the end

"If people do not want to have free trade agreements with the usa. Then at least tarrifs should be equitable, or close to it. To ensure that neither parties are stealing money from the other and abusing their trade relationships."

This is total dribble dude. There is no "stealing money", it's one individual selling to another. You are promoting collectivism, where we're all the borg and the queen bee controls us.

Americans benefit to buy cheap goods. If I give you a discount, I'm not attacking you

So to have trading deal between countries that is equal in tariffs that is dribble?

If one country charges us more in tariffs than we charge them. This is fair and not stealing?

If having a free trade agreement means no tariffs at all. While having an open market where both countries can buy and sell goods without being taxed on the imports and exports. That is collectivism?

I think you need a lesson in economics. Not ones that the TV tells you.

Trump's tariffs are NOT related to what the other country was charging. He laid on new (and high ones) based completely on the trade deficit with that country. For example China did NOT have like the 40-50% tariffs he laid on them during the "Liberation Day"

So me & you are not even debating policy, we're debating facts

Feel free to answer any one of my questions if you would like to participate in a conversation.

"So to have trading deal between countries that is equal in tariffs that is dribble?"

This is a fake question, it's not equal. Trump's tariffs are NOT related to what the other country was charging. He laid on new (and high ones) based completely on the trade deficit with that country. For example China did NOT have like the 40-50% tariffs he laid on them during the "Liberation Day"

"If having a free trade agreement means no tariffs at all. While having an open market where both countries can buy and sell goods without being taxed on the imports and exports. That is collectivism?"

If it's an open market, then I agree that's the best solution. I disagree that Trump forcing China to buy US stuff is an open market or fair. And the tariffs are the wrong approach to even get the deal.

It's collectivism because it's thinking of the whole USA as a single entity. It's individuals

You are focusing on associating the answers out of context of the questions themselves. When I asked them I wanted you to focus on the questions. Not outside associations regarding the tariffs situation the USA.

We are into economic theory. Not a debate onto what is currently going on.

Ok. In a pure theory sense,

I disagree with governments imposing tariffs, because it's punishing the local civilians, for the actions of a foreign government. Even if the foreign government has tariffs, it doesn't help the local consumers to have them also.

From a bird's eye view,

I view us all as individuals, and the only role for government is stopping violent crime. Not picking which products should cost more or less
