No. I would rather have less money than be a degenerate scumbag. I don't believe that we shouldn't judge others. I also judge myself and I am prepared to be judged by others.

The possibility of being judged might well be a necessary incentive to be a decent person.

I agree. I think self-judgement in particular is a useful tool for maintaining my integrity and doing the best I can in any situation I am in. I also judge my peers openly in healthcare if they do something I feel lacks integrity. I suppose it is a good form of peer pressure. That's what peer review is really supposed to be about, but we've become so soft in the US that it's often labelled harassment. I think that partially why everything is decaying here. Feelings are more important than integrity and justice.
