Sad to see The Guardian from opposing the surveillance state to simping for it.

The only thing worth reading in this article would be the comments section, which seems to be missing 🤡

I don't remember its name, but I know that I read somewhere that there's a browser plugin that adds a comment section using NOSTR, to any webpage.

Cool, the nostr integration sounds great. About 5 years ago,

Dissenter was another chrome browser that added a comments section to otherwise useless webpages, such as state media.

But is simplex actually good?

It's promising. I'm still waiting for a (sane) way to use it on both mobile and laptop though.

What do you mean "for a sane way"? Seems good to me the way it works just by linking the mobile device to the desktop scanning a qrcode.

No you have to keep the phone on with the app open.

Unless they fixed that recently?

Oh yes, I understand what you mean with a sane way now.

Absurd really to paint nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyfehcpn as a far right extremist 🤦

Judging from his portfolio this (freelance) writer is so scared of far-right extremism that he's willing to let the end justify the means.

This other article, also by the Guardian, is 3 days old and takes an opposite approach:
