i looked to my left to make sure that driver was indeed stopping

and she wasn't

there were no other people nor cars anywhere nearby, so i guess her focus just faded for a bit

maybe there are gods

i am more of a stoic myself, so i am not afraid of death myself, but to think it could've seriously altered my life is a needed wake-up call
