Yes I can relate. Very annoying

you can take a wild guess what i'm constructing during the locked in period 😂

Same, though less of a problem since I retired. When working, I tended to get sleepy around 10 pm, and if I didn’t stay off the computer and wind down to sleep, it’s like I got a second wind of energy and worked on stuff straight through to 2-3 am.

Certified night owl here. Some people just have a different circadian rhythms. Imo its not a problem and ive tryed to find work that fits that rhythm. Genuinely sucks though when you have a traditional 9-5 and your boss does not understand.

yeah, unsure if i'm being a weakling or i just find it easier to focus later on

Not sure about you, but for me it is absolutely easier to focus at night. Some of my best creative sessions come between like 11 p.m. and 4 in the morning.

same here yeah, i guess my brain numbs out and becomes quieter

For me, it's almost like the world gets quieter, which allows me to think better. I know that's probably a retarded take, but meh. Shit's just different at two or three in the morning.

Less frequencies for your body to deal with.

Where are you living? I had this problem a long time ago. Many small things can make a big difference.

near baltic honeybadger 😀

Same.

so you lock in or just say fk it and go to bed?

Yes.

Yes. I've had a lot of incredible insights at those hours.

Background noise is minimal. Feels like you’re out on your own limb.
