Are you critizising him for not being able to solve an impossible problem? Or what do you mean? Are you proposing that he should stop working for making bitcoin mainstream and usable? And that he is hypocritical for making a business out of his ideas. Something doesn’t add up in your reasoning.

Critizism is about P2P electronic cash without a 3rd party.

There is nothing in this department within strike!

Back when it all started he was working on Zap but decided to go with the bank app = Strike, which is trusted 3rd party.

Zap is what Zeus is today.

Build business of what innovative ideas?

There is only one idea in bitcoin is the first paragraph of white paper.

There are a lot of ways.

If I need to use Paypal I will. And I will definetely use Strike.

I have a couple of hundred thousand sats on Zeus, but the limitations in the user experience is not attractive.
