First time on a plane in 6 months, apparently they banned the use of powerbanks?

You can have it and use it when you get on, but can’t use it once moving and can’t leave it in overhead compartment..

WTF is that about?

Don't even think about it. The people making up the rules don't do so either.

They're throwing all the potentially explosive shampoos and deodorants that are too big to take on a plane into big trashcans in the airports, close to security personell and civilians.

You can only have bombs up until the security clearance, just please dispose of them before you get to the gates 😂

Sounds like a possibly legit safety issue? To be consistent, though, they'd need to ban phones and laptops...

I'm more concerned about the constant growth of the surveillance state... Did they demand a "Real ID" for you to board?🤔

If it’s a safety issue;

Why can i use it before moving?

Why can’t I have it in the overhead?

Why are they allowed on board at all?

Makes no sense.

Idiocracy

If your phone goes flat on a long flight you are more likely to pay for the in flight entertainment!

Sticker for the free wifi on my flight had a qr code for in-flight entertainment. You might be on to something

I'm surprised it took that long. Ever see pics or vids of a small lithium battery go boom? No imagine 100x.

Then ban them from the plane entirely if that’s the concern

More bullshit dreamt up by mouse movers justifying their useless existence making everyone else's lives more difficult
