I've heard of bittorrent, storj, filecoin, siacoin, Flux and many more! For phone technology I've heard of Helium network. Which has already over 1 million nodes securing a 3g and 5g network.
I thought I heard Proton is working on a file storage solution alternative.

Check out Flux as well. Lots of things in the works for decentralization of apps and file storage. PoW/PoS hybrid.
I had Flux at .20 cents and sold at about .70. For decentralized storage I think they will do well. There ceo is quite iffy though lol.

Lightning Network doesn't provide a security structure like native #BTC blockchain where in order for it to fail it needs a system wide breach. Lightning has many weak spots + the transactions have to settle on the Native Blockchain anyway. #BTC fees went very high after ordinals were introduced, many don't see if #BTC is going to be used as a currency they will be paying monster fees, doesn't matter if you will use Lightning or not. If you don't believe me wait and see. #BTC is a great store of value but is not a currency mate

Here I am talking about a project that introduces what #BTC was supposed to be and your point is that the rest of the most valuable projects that cite its author are not as good. So? It is billions of $ acknowledging his work throughout 10 years and now he founded a project that is #BTC in essence but fast sth nobody else could do. Yet you will ignore everything that goes in its favour and pick anything against. This won't age well, #BTC will still be used as a Store of Value in 10 years but if you don't #DYOR on #Kaspa you will see it was not a wise decision in 10 years.

#Kaspa is Nakamoto Consensus protocol at 1BPS, heck it fulfills Satoshis OG vision for #BTC better than #BTC technically. I would suggest getting out of your maximalism as #BTC is not just a name and a hashrate but also technical engineering that was exciting +10 years ago but hasn't introduced any major improvement in all this time. PCs have improved exponentially on all this time yet you guys are willing to sell out to a layer2 solution that don't solve the inherent problems with the protocol and its difficulty to scale worldwide.

#Kaspa has no CEO or company behind either. I wrote in my answers to WilliamHodl that it was Fairly Launched #BTC style. Because of this and not having VCs with coin allocations that they can easily dump, it has gone up so much organically.

Considering the hash rate difference, thousands literally. Means easier for a 51% attack and truly not decentralized. Hard pass on Kaspa. There is so many shitcoins better then kaspa even. But the difference in hash rate and adoption. You don't see tesla, space x, fidelity or any of the big players on the world interested on kaspa. Do you know why? Its a shitcoin, that people less financially well will use in hopes to get rich. Poor people share about 10% of the world's wealth and can barely invest. You will never catch the vast amounts of money like Bitcoin. THERE IS NO SECOND BEST TO BITCOIN. and people who are financially intelligent, realize this.
It launched 1 year and a half a ago, give it the minimum time, can't expect it to have #BTC hashrate in less than 2 years lol. It is the fastest PoW in existence and the fourth most mined coin on f2pool, the biggest mining pool in the world. Which other PoW provides #BTC security design with 1BPS (10 soon) + Smart Contract capability? None. They had over a decade to come up with this and only #Kaspa has done it. Once people know about a protocol that unites all this features it is a question of time really.
