The non-stop Israeli bombardment of Gaza over the last 48 hours has already displaced 120,000 Palestinians who have nowhere to go. Israel said it attacked over 500 targets overnight. At least 493 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the unprecedented offensive by resistance groups against the Israeli occupation.
Refugee camps, schools, mosques, multi-floor residential buildings, and the headquarters of resistance groups have been razed to the ground by Israeli air strikes. Civil defense groups are working tirelessly to pull people out of the rubble.
According to local reports Israel's bombardment of Gaza last night "didn't stop even for a minute." Gaza is home to 2.3 million Palestinians, one of the most densely populated areas worldwide which was already suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis before the military escalation.
Israel announced the "total blockade" of Gaza, including a ban on food and fuel, as part of its war against "beastly people." At the same time, Israel has prepared for a large-scale military retaliation, including mobilizing 300,000 reservists and preparing columns of tanks that are set to attack Gaza.
