Watched Holy Mountain (1973), a surrealist film directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. A Christ like figure embarks on a spiritual quest. He’s guided by a mysterious alchemist. He assembles a group of people to climb the Holy mountain in order to seek enlightenment and replace the immortal gods. I don’t know about this one. Didn’t enjoy it that much. The story made no sense. It was visually beautiful and the music was good. But way out there. I did like the critique of consumerism and religion. But other than that it was trash. That whole scene with the woman with the Hebrew tattoos bathing the main character and then that glass bowl thing was absolute trash. 3/10 #nodereviews
